The historic black and white photographs you see on the website date from the late 19th century, and show the boathouse, the Potomac River waterfront and the Georgetown area through the years, as well as rowers and rowing races. Many of the photographs are on display on the walls of the Boathouse itself. The Potomac Boat Club has also entered into an agreement with the DC Public Library to preserve the original photographs, and make them permanently available to the public in the Peabody Room at the Georgetown Branch of the library, 3260 R St NW.
